UPLIFTER: Transition, Riser & Drop Designer

No more transition grind

You know the drill. Your drop hits, your beat is locked, your hook kills. But between bridge and drop there's a gap you fill by hand every single time. Layering noise risers, automating filter sweeps, drawing pitch rises, timing sidechain pumps, opening reverbs. Three hours later you've got a transition that sounds okay, and you wonder why this starts from scratch on every track.

UPLIFTER does this in one click. One MIDI note, one duration, one preset. Out comes the riser, the build-up, the drop, or the sweep. And if the 72 factory presets don't cut it, you'll build your own signature transition in 30 seconds, then reuse it on every track from there.

One MIDI note in, a finished transition out.

UPLIFTER Plugin GUI

UPLIFTER turns a single note into a complete riser, build-up, drop or sweep. No piano roll automation, no ten LFOs, no routing madness. You press a key, hold it for the configured duration, and the plugin does the rest. Locked to host tempo, cleanly resolved, ready to drop into your track.

Three independent sound channels, each with its own source and an 8-slot effect chain. That makes 24 modulated effects per voice, each with its own curve and its own dry/wet. Plenty of depth for serious sound design, but built so you can go from init patch to a finished transition in 30 seconds.

What's inside

25 sound sources per channel: 7 oscillator types from sine to supersaw and Shepard tone, three noise colors (white, pink, brown), 8 hand-crafted wavetables (Metallic, Vocal, Digital, Harmonic, Formant, Glitch, Choir, Reese), a sample player for your own WAV or AIFF files, plus 6 evolving sweeps that morph their character across the full note length.

The 6 Evolving Sources, FM Brass Evo, FM Bell Decay, Hardsync Sweep, Risset Gliss, WT Morph Sweep and BP Noise Sweep, sweep their spectrum on their own. What used to take three layered channels and elaborate LFO routings is delivered here by a single source slot: the mix stays clean, CPU stays relaxed, and the riser already has a full spectral journey baked in.

The 8 effect slots run in a fixed order: pitch shifter with up to 84 semitones of range (up or down), two independent filters (LP, HP, BP as TPT SVF, no zipper noise), bit crusher, reverb, ring modulator, granular processor and auto pan. Every slot is curve-modulated and has its own dry/wet.

Modulation curves that actually do something

Every effect is driven by a curve that runs across the note duration. Ten types built in: Linear, Logarithmic, Exponential, S-Curve, Modulated, Stairs, Tension, Bounce, Random and Custom. When the nine ready-made shapes are not enough, open the Custom Curve Editor and draw your own with up to 32 breakpoints. Each segment switchable between linear and Catmull-Rom interpolation. Polyrhythmic filter sweeps, plateau-sprint-plateau pitch patterns, tape glitch drops with spike back, all possible. What you see in the editor is exactly what you hear.

Tempo synced, master section that means it

Duration in bars (1/2, 1, 2, 4, 8, 16, 32, 64). Sidechain rate 1/4, 1/8, 1/16. Everything locked to the host transport. The sidechain pump engine runs in three character modes: Constant Pump for the classic EDM sidechain feel, Hard Duck for aggressive gate-style movement, Soft Duck for modern trance and progressive sounds.

With the 16-, 32- and 64-bar durations, real festival builds also run fully automated to your DAW tempo, long-form drops, meditative builds and progressive house transitions are a one-click setup, no external automation or manual note triggering required.

The master section brings a 5 ms lookahead true peak limiter, M/S stereo spread, a tunable master HP filter to clear out infrasonic mud, smoothed master volume and a global dry/wet for parallel processing setups.

72 Factory Presets in 11 Categories

Classic Risers, Tonal Risers, Noise Textures, Bass Drops, Techno Builds, Trance Lifts, Glitch & Digital, Multi Layer, Sidechain Pumper, FX Specials and a Custom Showcase. From pure white-noise lifts and 8-bar Epic Trance builds to hand-drawn triplet bounces, it's all in there. Plus 20 new presets built around the Evolving Sources, solo showcases (FM Brass Scream, Infinite Risset, WT Morph Journey …), hybrid stacks (Brass + Risset Choir, Triple FM Stack, Risset Cathedral …) and character effects (Granular Wind, Sync Crunch, Reverse Bell). You can save user presets any time, including your custom curves in full round-trip.

The preset name shows the riser length right in the title (e.g. „Risset Cathedral · 16 Bars"), when you click through quickly you instantly see which preset fits the current track tempo and bar position.
