The V8 DrumPatternGenerator is a Bitwig Studio controller script that writes complete, idiomatically correct drum patterns straight into your clips at the push of a button. Instead of programming from scratch or stitching sample loops together, you pick a genre module, hit Generate and get a pattern that sounds like the genre it claims to be.
Eight genre modules cover the bulk of modern electronic drum programming: Hip Hop, Miami Bass, House, Techno, Acid Techno, Electro Funk, Trap and Experimental. Each module is its own JavaScript engine with genre-specific pattern rules, velocity curves, swing behavior and characteristic hi-hat / snare layouts. Not a random generator, but pattern logic that understands the genre.
A dedicated fills engine builds transitions and endings that match your pattern.
