Triple Oscillator Engine

Three independent oscillators form the heart of Reecer.

Oscillators A and B each offer 14 waveforms: Sawtooth, Square, Pulse and Sine are just the beginning. Formant Synthesis creates vocal-like textures with seamless A E I O U morphing. The Phase Distortion waveforms (PD Saw, PD Square, PD Pulse, PD DblSine, PD HalfSine) bring back the sound of the Casio CZ series – extended with resonant variants (PD ResSaw, PD ResTri, PD ResTrap) for aggressive, punchy sounds.

The Harmonic Series Wavetable is based on the natural overtone series – the typical sound of brass instruments. Perfect for modern foghorns, fat leads and the wide, overtone-rich textures that make the difference in Bass Music, Dubstep and Future Bass. The Morph Control smoothly sweeps through the harmonic series: from warm fundamentals to cutting, horn-like tones.

Each oscillator has its own parameters for Level, Pan, Octave, Pulse Width Modulation and Hard Sync. The Morph Control enables transitions between waveforms in real-time.

The Sub Oscillator provides the foundation. Selectable waveform (Saw, Square, Sine) and octave range from -3 to +1 – the pressure electronic music needs.

Plus a Noise Generator with five types (White, Pink, Brown, Blue, Violet) – from subtle to percussive.

29 Filter

The filter section is the heart of every synthesizer. Reecer offers 29 different filter types.

The Vintage Emulations:

Ladder – the warm sound of the Moog cascade circuit. Diode – the aggressive acid of the TB 303. MS20 – the biting character of the Korg MS 20. Steiner – the coloration of the Steiner Parker. OberheimSEM – the creamy state variable filter of the Oberheim SEM modules. Prophet – the classic Sequential Circuits sound. Acid303 – authentic TB 303 emulation with Accent and Slide. Polivoks – the raw character of the Soviet classic. BuchlaLPG – Low Pass Gate for organic, percussive textures.

All filters offer selectable slope from 12 to 48 dB/octave, full keyboard tracking and can be routed serial or parallel with the second filter.

16 Slot Modulation Matrix with 5 LFOs

Movement is everything. The Modulation Matrix with 16 slots connects every source to every destination.

15 Modulation Sources: Five LFOs – LFO 1 to 3 with classic waveforms (Sine, Triangle, Saw, Square, Sample & Hold, Noise), freely selectable or host-synced rate. LFO 4 and 5 are freely drawable like in Serum – six curve modes (Linear, Smooth, S Curve, Exponential Up/Down, Steps) and over 25 presets from simple shapes to complex rhythmic patterns like Trance Gate, Sidechain, Breakbeat or Dubstep.

Plus four Envelopes (Amp A, Amp B, Filter, AUX), Velocity, Mod Wheel, Aftertouch, Pitch Bend and Key Tracking.

Over 50 Modulation Targets: Oscillator Frequency, Waveform, Pulse Width, Filter Frequency, Resonance, Distortion Parameters, Panning, Effect Settings and more.

All modulated parameters show orange rings with real-time visualization – even complex patches stay clear.

Quad Distortion Chain with 15 Algorithms

Distortion belongs to electronic music. Reecer offers a quad distortion chain – each slot displayed as a virtual pedal with its own transfer curve.

15 Algorithms: Soft Clip for warmth and presence. Hard Clip for harder sounds. Tube with harmonic overtones. Tape with analog character. Bitcrush for lo-fi and retro. Wavefold for complex overtone structures. Rectifier for aggressive, synthetic textures. Asymmetric for odd harmonics.

The four slots can be switched serial or parallel. Serial for building saturation, parallel for complex, layered distortion.

Each slot offers Amount, Mix and Type selection with LED indication.

Morph EQ

The four-band Morph EQ is not an ordinary equalizer. Each band moves across the frequency spectrum – from a start to a target frequency, controlled by selectable waveforms and syncable to host tempo.

Parameters per band: Start and Target Frequency (20 Hz – 20 kHz), Gain (±24 dB), Q Factor, Speed, Modulation Waveform, Tempo Sync Division.

Real-time visualization shows the movement in the spectrum. Filter sweeps, rhythmic frequency modulations, movements – what static EQ can't do.

Effects

A complete effect chain makes Reecer an all-in-one instrument:

Modulation Effects: Chorus für Stereo Width und Tiefe, Phaser für klassische Phasenmodulation, Flanger für Jet Sounds und Comb Filter, Stereo Width Control.

Delay: Independent times for left and right, separate feedback per side, cross feed for ping pong, tempo sync, warble for tape-like wow and flutter effects, stereo width control.

Dual Frequency Shifter: Two independent frequency shifters (±2000 Hz), serial or parallel routing, keyboard tracking.

Reverb: Size, Damping, Width and Mix. From small rooms to wide halls.

Compression: Dreistufig – Pre Compression vor den Effects, Post Compression danach, Master Compressor mit Attack und Release am Output.

Note Splitter

The Note Splitter turns single MIDI notes into complete chords with up to 7 voices. Signal chain: MIDI Input → Noteshift → Octave Jump → Note Split → MIDI Output.

Chord Categories: Triads, Seventh Chords, Extended Chords, Power Chords, Inversions, Open Voicings, Quartal Chords, Clusters, EDM-optimized voicings.

Each of the 7 voices has its own pitch and velocity settings.

Composing Section

150 patterns in the integrated library: 50 Bass Patterns (Standard Root, Syncopated Funk, Walking Bass, Octave Bounce). 50 Melody Patterns (Lyrical Phrase, Motif Based, Call Response, Scale Run). 50 Arp Patterns (Up Sweep, Down Sweep, Psy Triplet, Up Down Wave).

The Mood Generator creates chord progressions: HAPPY – major in Ionian mode. SAD – minor with i iv v VI VII. MELANCHOLIC – extended seventh chords. ENERGETIC – power chord progressions.

All 12 root notes selectable, 1 to 16 chords (each chord = 1 bar).

MIDI Drag & Drop export – the complete pattern directly into the DAW, bass, melody, arps and chords on separate MIDI channels.

Performance Macros

Six Macro Controllers: M1 to M4 as classic knobs, M5 (X) and M6 (Y) as XY Pad.

MIDI CC assignment for hardware controllers. All mappings are saved with the preset.

Four Curve Types: Linear (1:1), Exponential (acceleration at high values), Logarithmic (acceleration at low values), S Curve (smooth transition).

Analog Drift

For true analog character: oscillator drift (frequency instability 0–100%), filter drift (cutoff variations).

For real analog character: Oscillator Drift (frequency instability 0–100%), Filter Drift (cutoff variations). Vintage Presets for Minimoog, Prophet 5, Jupiter 8.
