Trying to create a preset, and discovered a problem with the preset naming dialog box. Under certain conditions, it loses its modal functionality, and disappears behind everything. Only way to bring it back into focus is to click the "Rename" button to pop it forwards again. See attached screen capture.

Thanks for the detailed bug report with the screen capture - this helped us identify the issue quickly!
What was happening:
The preset naming dialog was losing focus on Windows because VST3 plugins run inside the DAW's window hierarchy. When the dialog was created, Windows
didn't properly bring it to the foreground, causing it to hide behind the DAW window or taskbar.
How we fixed it:
We implemented explicit focus management for Windows VST3:
- Dialog now forces itself to the foreground on creation
- Added setAlwaysOnTop(true) to prevent the dialog from hiding
- Implemented proper keyboard focus grabbing (grabKeyboardFocus(), setWantsKeyboardFocus(true))
- Text input fields now auto-select content when focused
Fix included in: Today's build (Feb 10, 2026)
The fix applies to all dialog windows (Save Preset, Rename, etc.) on Windows 10/11.
