Im Preset Browser: Categories "All": Keine alphabetische Sortierung möglich. Auch nicht nach Autor. 

Bei den einzelnen Categories: Klänge sind alphabetisch sortiert. Eine Sortierung nach Autor ist hier auch nicht möglich.

schön, das ich als Laie hier helfen und auf Fehler aufmerksam machen kann. Ich finde, du bist schon recht weit fortgeschritten.

Leider sind mit Ausnahme von Helge noch nicht so viele Presets zur Verfügung gestellt worden, das ist noch ausbaufähig,

damit du, wenn die Beta-Phase abgeschlossen ist, eine ordentliche Factory-Preset-Bank zur Verfügung stellen kannst.

Der Synth macht schon Spaß. Wie findest du die Idee, einen Random-Knopf zu installieren, der Zufallsklänge produziert?

Würde es mir leichter machen, neue Sounds zu entwickeln. Jedoch darf dieser nicht zu wild in die Einstellungen eingreifen,

damit sinnvolle Ergebnisse dabei herauskommen. Der Warlock von Tone2 hat z.B. einen Zufallsgenerator, der enorm viele

brauchbare Sounds bringt, U-he hat auch die Möglichkeit gegeben, mit verschiedenen prozentualen Anteilen an Veränderung

zu arbeiten. Ist ja nur mal eine Idee von mir.....

Zum Thema Versionshistorie: Mit jeder neuen Version versende ich ein Changelog per E-Mail an alle registrierten Nutzer. Bekommst du die? Falls nicht, schau mal in deinem Spam-Ordner nach. Alternativ kann ich die Changelogs auch hier ins Forum posten, dann habt ihr alles zentral an einem Ort. Sag Bescheid, was dir lieber wäre.

Zum Limiter: Du hast Recht, dass der Limiter-Regler (rechts oben neben dem Master Volume) in v1.4 kaum hörbar reagiert hat. Das lag daran, dass der interne Regelbereich viel zu klein war. Er ging nur von -1 dB bis 0 dB, also praktisch kein Spielraum.

Ich habe das für das nächste Update bereits gefixt: Der Limiter-Ceiling geht jetzt von -12 dB bis 0 dB. Damit kannst du die Obergrenze des Ausgangssignals deutlich absenken und Übersteuerungen effektiv verhindern.

So verwendest du den Limiter richtig: 0 dB (ganz rechts) bedeutet, dass das Signal bis zum digitalen Maximum gehen darf, also minimale Begrenzung. Im Bereich von -3 dB bis -6 dB hast du einen guten Sweetspot für Sounddesign mit genug Headroom, ohne hartes Clipping. Bei -12 dB (ganz links) wird das Signal deutlich leiser, aber nie verzerrt.

Allgemeine Tipps gegen Übersteuerung beim Sounddesign: Wenn du beide Oszillatoren (A+B) mit Detune und vollem Level laufen hast, verdoppelt sich das Signal schnell. Versuch die einzelnen Osc-Levels etwas zurückzunehmen, z.B. auf 70 bis 80%. Hohe Filter-Resonanz erzeugt starke Pegelspitzen, also vorsichtig dosieren. Effekte wie Chorus, Phaser und besonders Reverb addieren zusätzlichen Pegel, den Mix-Regler also nicht zu hoch setzen. Und als letzten Schritt den Master Volume so einstellen, dass der Pegel in Cubase im grünen Bereich bleibt.

Der Limiter ist als Sicherheitsnetz gedacht. Er fängt Pegelspitzen ab, damit nichts digital clippt. Für den besten Sound empfiehlt es sich aber, den Pegel schon vorher im Griff zu haben, damit der Limiter nur selten eingreifen muss.

Der Fix kommt mit dem nächsten Update. Danke fürs Testen und Melden!
