Great suggestions having the PANIC button and CPU usage always visible definitely makes sense from a usability perspective. I'll keep that in mind for a future update.

Runaway preset - Ambient Garage CineFX

Finally got a chance to play around with the Easter preset pack.

The Ambient Garage CineFX preset plays nicely, but it continues to build (feedback?) and eventually reaches a nice maximum. Thankfully my master track has a limiter on it!

Only way to get it to stop is to open Settings and hit Panic.

Also, if you let Reecer alone with that plugin loaded, with no interaction at all (running in background) it will slowly build to static then to the sound from inside the cabin of a jet engine... Adjusting the Reecer limiter does help a little, but not completely. Again, need to Panic to kill it.

Two suggestions:

First, of course, need to deal with the runaway plugin.

Second, though, is to move the Panic button onto the MAIN dialog, perhaps around the limiter dial or volume display?

Thank you for a wonderful project. Looks amazing! And congratulations on releasing so many improved beta versions so quickly.

While testing the 1.5.0 version, with the standalone app, I noticed a few areas that might be helpful to change.

Suggestion: Move the PANIC button to the top of the UI, out of the settings window, so that it is always visible.

Same goes for CPU usage, I can’t see it while the onscreen keyboard is visible.

Noise Occurs while dragging over the onscreen keyboard in standalone app

Standalone app works, but dragging up and down the keyboard causes noise to begin. Single notes seem ok. This was using:

BS-70s_Funk_Foundation.

BS-Acid_Wobble_Grime

Some other presets seemed OK.

Hey, thanks for your message and for rallying the testers!

The silence is a bit deceiving. I'm currently deep in work on a bigger version jump to 1.5, which will bring a whole load of bugfixes and some really cool new features. Stay tuned, something solid is coming.

So: keep testing, keep building presets, keep reporting. Every report counts!

It's very quiet here in the forum. Is everything already perfect with Reecer? That would be hard to believe.

Unfortunately, I lack the technical expertise to find any further bugs. Therefore, I'd like to ask everyone:

Please continue testing Reecer, create new presets, and if you discover any errors, please report them in the forum.

Frank will certainly be happy to help and fix the bugs, as he has already done.

Es ist sehr ruhig hier im Forum. Ist schon alles perfekt beim Reecer? Wäre kaum zu zu glauben.

Leider fehlen mir die technischen Kenntnisse, um weitere Bugs zu finden. Daher die Bitte an Alle:

Testet weiter den Reecer, erstellt neue Presets, wenn ihr Fehler feststellt, meldet sie bitte im Forum

Frank wird sicherlich dann behilflich sein und die Fehler beseitigen, wie er es bereits bis jetzt getan hat.
